How to Check Fake Discounts Online
Online stores often show large discounts, but not every discount is a real saving. Before buying, compare the final selling price, not only the discount percentage.
Check the Current Price
Look at the deal price, delivery charges, coupon requirement, bank offer terms, and seller page. The best deal is the final payable price after all conditions.
Compare Multiple Stores
Search the same product on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, JioMart, Ajio, and other stores. A product may show a high discount on one store but still be cheaper elsewhere.
Review MRP Carefully
Some products show a high MRP to make the discount look bigger. Check if the same product normally sells near that price or if the discount is inflated.
Check Coupon and Bank Terms
Coupons, card discounts, exchange offers, and cashback may have minimum order values or selected-card conditions. Read terms before purchase.
